With a private practice in Novelty, Ohio, I am an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Therapist, and an Equine-Assisted Therapist. I am credentialed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed through the State of Ohio. I am a Certified PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) instructor in which I teach children with development delay/autism. My practice is located at Green Fisher Farm, a five acre property which is residence to my six equine co-workers. I am dually certified EAGALA (Equine Growth and Learning Association) mental health and equine specialist. I grew up with horses in Lake County 4-H barrel racing my gelding Mr. Sandman at the county and state fair. Horses have always been my therapist and I love combining an evidenced-based therapy  (EA-EMDR) with Equine Assisted Therapy to help people heal from past traumas or current stressors.

Education & Experience
I have a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Youngstown State University in which I have worked in various settings. These settings include crisis intervention, group and individual therapy, and equine  assisted therapy. I have an Associate’s degree in horticulture from Ohio State University and have worked with nature (plants and horses) most of my life. Eighty percent of the therapy that I offer is outside with nature, not in a traditional office setting. I received my EMDR training at Institute for Creative Mindfulness, and my EA-EMDR with Sarah Jenkins the founder for Equilateral, the only Equine Assisted –EMDR protocol.
